Here’s your chance to give back to the great outdoors that gives so much to us! We have been asked to do a cleanup at the Indian River Tomahawk Loop Trail and your help would be greatly appreciated. Of course, while we are up north, we plan on mixing some fun in with the work that needs done.
The trail loop is 26 miles long and located just south of Burt Lake.
We stay at the Weber Lake State Forest Campground. This is rustic camping. For anyone that prefers a hotel: https://www.crookedriverlodge.com
Trash bags and gloves will also be provided. Hand saws and chainsaws are welcome.
The plan is to divide into groups and conquer the 26 miles of trails early in the day. An email with event specifics will be sent out a few weeks prior to the event.
