Event Overview

Join us for a 3-day weekend immersive training weekend held both indoors at a classroom setting as well as outdoors in the beautiful trail systems surrounding Houghton Lake and Grayling, Michigan.

This hands-on course is designed to teach participants:

-Navigation and Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) Rally training

-App-based navigation skills (OnX)

-Traditional map & compass navigation

-Communication and field execution

-Real-world application of TSD rally and waypoint hunting

Whether you’re brand new or looking to sharpen your skills, this weekend will give you structured classroom training and real trail experience.

Who Can Attend?:

The first 10 vehicles or 20 individuals with purchased reservations

Trail difficulty: 1–3 out of 10 (accessible for most stock vehicles)

Participants may run solo (we will partner you with another guest) or as a team in one vehicle.

Sunday – True Rally Day (8AM–2PM)
Teams put their skills into action

Debrief & Weekend Review: What worked, what didn’t, and what you learned.
To ensure everyone applies all skills learned:
During the weekend participants choose ONE of 2 checkpoint rally formats for Sundays hands on experience. Real-world problem solving. No shortcuts — full skill application.

🎯 Objective of the Weekend

By the end of this event, participants will:

Understand digital & analog navigation
Plot and execute map-based routes
Run and score a TSD Rally
Checkpoint / GPS Point Hunting
Communicate effectively under timed conditions
Apply navigation skills in real terrain
Most importantly — you’ll test yourself in a real rally environment under the supervision of teachers that have lived these conditions on course.
